A dual-band, dual-chain 802.11ax radio with Wave2 support delivers wireless speeds of up to 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and up to 1200 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band (AX1800 class), a meaningful step up from the previous hAP generation for streaming, large file transfers, and busy multi-device homes.

A quad-core 864 MHz ARM64 CPU paired with 1GB of RAM handles demanding tasks like complex firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, and multiple simultaneous RouterOS processes without bogging down. WPA3 wireless encryption adds stronger network security on top.
MikroTik HAP Ax2 Wi-Fi – Flexible Powering with PoE
Port 1 supports both passive PoE-in, so you can power the router itself over Ethernet, and passive PoE-out (up to 16.8W), letting you power a downstream device like an IP camera or a second access point from the same port, without extra power adapters cluttering your setup. A 24V 1.2A power adapter is included if you’d rather power it via the DC jack instead.
